Features
The artistic and historical significance
of the Casino de Madrid is undeniable and,
therefore, one of the organisation's main
objectives is the conservation and improvement
of the building and its collections.
Paintings, sculptures, as well as stained
glass windows, crystal lamps from La Granja
and its priceless collection of clocks,
make the Casino home to valuable works
of art.
Because of the importance of the building
and its collections, the Casino de Madrid
was declared a Property of Cultural Interest
in the category of Monument as per the Royal
Decree 92/1993 (BOE núm, Tuesday
21 December, 1993)
