The Casino de Madrid Magazine, published
quarterly by the institution, is nowadays the best
business card for this historic Madrid Society.
With interesting articles on topics from
events held at the Casino to its historical curiosities,
including Conference Series, recipes from
'La Terraza', the Casino de Madrid Magazine
has become one of the club's best vehicles
of communication.
The Casino has also published a series
of books that recount the History of the
Casino, the first in a collection that
portray the life, history and richness
of the Casino de Madrid. 'El Casino de
Madrid (notes for its History) by Juan
de la Corte, 'Historia del Casino de Madrid
y su Época' by José Montero
Alonso, and 'Patrimonio Artístico
del Casino de Madrid: El Salón
Real (formerly known as Salón de
Baile)' by María López Fernández
and "The Casino de Madrid, its origins
and first steps", by María Zozaya Montes;
and "A centenarian milestone of Madrid
architecture: The head office of the Casino
de Madrid. 1903-2003", by Oscar da
Rocha Aranda and Susana Belén de
Torres Neira.
From the Casino de Madrid Press Office,
headed by Susana Rivera and Rosa Figueroa,
the magazine is written, its layout is made, the publication
of various books is overseen, and contacts
with the media are made, which is absolutely
fundamental for the Casino de Madrid in order to let its readers have an idea of its activities and to continue to be a referent of Madrid's social and cultural life.
